Carol Harrison, CEO |
Mrs. Harrison has a degree in Accounting and over 30 years experience in management, business systems, accounting, human resources, sales, marketing, customer service, and business planning in a variety of industries - food service, retail, non-profits, R & D, real estate consulting, manufacturing, and international organizations. She is a classically trained musician and studied at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee Peck School of Fine Arts.
Prior to taking on the roll of CEO of ARC Associates, LLC (now operating as Focus Strategic Solutions) in 2005, Mrs. Harrison ran Powell Accounting Services, a successful small business bookkeeping and accounting company and was responsible for setting up computerized accounting systems for many of her clients and assisting them in developing and implementing tactical and operational strategies . To add to her list of thinking outside the box, Mrs. Harrison was responsible for designing a meal-plan control system for a private student housing organization that was implemented nationally.
Mrs. Harrison has been involved in many volunteer community organizations including Atwood Community Center, Camp Hope Children’s Grief Camps, Fitchburg Fields, Sarvodaya, and the Girl Scouts.

Before graduating from Columbia University, with a major in Materials Engineering, Mr. Harrison was very active both locally and nationally. He participated in a family owned business, local, and regional organizations and earned a scholarship to attend New York University, where he graduated with a degree in Theater Arts and Music. Mr. Harrison also holds a MBA in Business Development from Columbia.
His 30 plus year career includes executive and technical systems management responsibilities in several different corporations including Babcock and Wilcox, Parker-Hannifin GTFSD, and Technicare Corporation. Mr. Harrison helped develop Advanced MicroFinish Incorporated, a successful ultra-high purity tubing company into a multi-million dollar organization that was sold in 1999. He is listed as a developing partner on three different material and product patents. In 2005, Mr. Harrison and his wife, Carol Harrison, founded ARC Associates, LLC, a business consulting and leadership development firm. In 2009, the company rebranded itself as Focus Strategic Solutions. Mr. Harrison now coaches under Focus Strategic Solutions brand to help individuals and organizations both nationally and internationally to define long term strategies; improve process effectiveness; to develop leadership skills and competencies and improve bottom line results.
